Forrest Shingoose

Registered Massage Therapist

Graduating from Langara in 2019 with the support of three prominent Aboriginal organizations — ACCESS, Métis Nation British Columbia (MNBC), and Congress of Aboriginal Peoples (CAP) — Forrest brings a rich and diverse background to her role as a Registered Massage Therapist. Beyond her massage therapy expertise, she has a foundation in hospitality and experience in carpentry and other trades.

Specializing in ante-natal care, Forrest has completed specialized courses covering the various aspects of massage therapy at any stage of maternal care. She is well versed in treating this population and greatly enjoys supporting families throughout this period of their lives.

Forrest's practice extends to working with a diverse range of clients, including semi-professional and amateur athletes engaged in sports like badminton, pickleball, boxing, hockey, soccer, basketball, cycling, martial arts, horseback riding, ringette, baseball, running, swimming, volleyball, cricket, golf, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, dragon boating, kayaking, underwater hockey, hiking, kickboxing, disc golf, fly fishing. She also has experience working with dancers in various genres, such as hip hop, jazz, ballet, and burlesque. 

Additionally, Forrest has provided post-surgery care, showcasing her versatility and commitment to tailored therapeutic solutions.

Forrest is currently training to become a pole dance instructor, and enjoys rock climbing, gymnastics, and contortion, highlighting her passion for holistic lifestyle and overall health and well-being.
