Chrysanne obtained her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She then received her master’s degree in Educational Speech-Language Pathology and Learning Disabilities from The Education University of Hong Kong. Prior to her move to Vancouver, she worked in hospitals, elementary and secondary schools, pre-schools, and private settings in Hong Kong. Since her move to Vancouver, she has continued to expand her experience in private practice and school settings. 

 

Chrysanne has experience assessing and facilitating the development of a wide range of speech and language skills including speech sound disorders, receptive and expressive language, literacy, fluency, social communication, and augmentative and alternative communication. She has also effectively worked with families from diverse cultural and multilingual backgrounds. Clinically, she meets children at their level and strives to be flexible—in mind and in limbs!—so that children are engaged and motivated to listen and express themselves while having fun in the process. 

 

Chrysanne is committed to staying up-to-date with learning and providing the best evidence-based services. She holds certifications in the UCLA PEERS program, Beckman Oral Motor Assessment and Intervention, and TalkTools levels 1 and 2. She regularly attends professional workshops and enjoys working as a team with parents and her colleagues. Chrysanne is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia (CSHBC) and is certified by Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC). 

 

Chrysanne is also fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
